Your desk is marvelous! I wanted to make a mold for a concrete sculpture of sorts. It will be rather large so the silicone would be too spendy to do a practice run. It took me 5 years to convince myself I could figure it out and I finally took the plunge last year. Once I did, it only took a few hours to make the mold. Now I have two pieces of silicone I need to attach together and again I am stalling for fear of ruining the mold. Or maybe I’m stalling due to fear of unrealistic expectations. Either way I think I will pull it out after the holidays and give it a go. Thanks for the inspiration.
