It’s been a quiet week in the art studio. I’ve been feeling rather out of sorts and completely un-inspired to show up and paint, but I did manage to create this quick, yet rather layered painting, in my junk journal this week.
I love seeing all the luscious page edges sticking out as I create in this journal — you can see those edges “framing” this particular painting in the image above. Doesn’t it look yummy?
I’ve put together a short little process video that I am sharing here with you first, before I upload it anywhere else. It’s also my first time uploading video directly to Substack, so I do apologize if there are any glitches.
Just a few more pages to go until this journal is complete! I’ve already shared a few of the paintings from this journal in previous posts, but I’m wondering:
Would you like to see a flip through of this journal once it is complete? Let me know in the comments or hit reply to this email!
I hope you enjoyed watching my process, and that it will inspire you to pick up your own paintbrushes and paint!
Would you help spread the world about Studio Diaries?
